As a non-professional music lover, these live up to the hype! I'm finding I can listen on a variety of levels - you can lay back and zone out as they sound balanced and smooth or you can also dive into details as the imaging and separation are like no other IEM I've heard (Z1Rs included, which I also own). I'm impressed. The U12T is extremely versatile and absolutely deserving of the often assigned title "best all rounder".
