Patio Baby Eggplant

Not doing too well…

Arrived on time and well packaged, but right away had leaves were staying to yellow. So far, it’s pretty much grown 2 leaves and a handful of flowers that have just dried up and fallen off.

So far do good

Only gave a four star review because it is still in the growing stage. The plant is just loaded with blossoms and fruit is being to set. Hopefully we will get a bumper crop of mini eggplants. Very happy with the results so far.

Awesome Eggplant

The patio baby arrived in good condition. I transplanted it and the seedling has done well. There are around 15 or more fruit on the plant as of July 7th with more buds. I have struggled with aphids and use food grade diotomaceous earth on the plant. That has certainly set the aphids back and the fruit seem fine. I look forward to trying the patio baby egg plant fruit grilled or in a curry. I live in a climate with rather warm summers in North Central Washington.
