We received and planted these shallot bulbs in October. They seem to be thriving through the late fall, and I'm excited to see the final produce in July.

Growing very well
I love the French shallots from Territorial. I planted in the fall, and now, after the plants were hit by hard-freeze temps, they are still growing well. I love picking the greens for my omelet.

Pacific Northwest French Shallot
15 large sized bulbs arrived early October in good condition though I was out of the country so didn't get the opportunity to plant them until November 29th. None had sprouted and remained solid. After top dressing my 4' x 10' raised bed with compost, I added both blood meal and bone meal to the planting hole. Looking forward to see them sprout in the spring and to harvest late summer.
