I love Purslane!
I put a few pinches of seed out and watered it when I was able. Two plants came up, which is better than I expected given that I had lost track of them! They're growing pretty quickly, and I've already sown more. I tried just a few leaves and the flavor is amazing, so I plan to grow it in multiple garden beds to act as edible ground cover.

Good thing to have in the garden.
I first bought golden purslane seeds maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Once planted, it went "wild" and I would find those beautiful little purslane starts in many parts of the garden as the weather warmed up. (I use purslane in salads, stir-frys and my husband steams the older plants and serves them with butter.) Because the golden purslane is easily to distinguish from it's wild cousins, I can easily move the young plants to where I want them and don't have to plant them every year. That said, I haven't allowed the purslane to go to see in the last few years, so my purslane supply had dwindled. No problem. I just ordered more from Territorial. : )
