Excellent, soft buttercrunch type lettuce
If this was the only lettuce I grew it would still be enough for me. The most descriptive term I can think of for this lettuce is 'soft'. Buttery texture, soft leaves, mild flavor; it is excellent for salads or sandwiches. Self-seeds and overwinters, even when winter is a rough one. About the only thing I could say against it is it is susceptable to slugs and aphids, but as long as you are able to combat those pests, this will be an excellent lettuce for you.

my favorite lettuce
I order from territorial literally specifically so I can get this lettuce every year, it's a perfect halfway between iceberg and butter lettuce cronchy nice dense head and I don't have issues with bolting or bitterness
