Always reliable
I have grown 'Gypsy' for many years and it is always reliable. The heads are just now approaching the cutting stage. Cabbage worm damage has been minimal this year and the plants look great. The only "problem" has been a windstorm that sent some of the plants sideways, so I staked them up with those 12" bamboo bbq skewers and some twine and they recovered perfectly.

Great Tasting Broccoli
This is my 2nd review on Gypsy. I can't say enough good things about her. She has amazing staying power in the garden late into the fall and winter from plantings in May or June. After cutting the smallish head, the side shoots then become huge and provide meal after meal.

did well in summer garden
Now I will see how it does as a fall planted broccoli. I am on the peninsula in the Bay Area... zone 9b.
Cheers.
