While I haven't planted the kale yet this year, I have ordered it numerous times over the years from Pinetree. To my observation, the red kales seem to be less attractive to caterpillars which is nice for an organic garden. I've grown most of our vegetables every year for almost 40 years and Pinetree has been my main seed supplier for many years.

The shopping experience was good. Fast delivery. The kale was planted in an unheated greenhouse, and it is growing well; tolerating both cold and heat on sunny days. It is very mild and tasty.
