High-quality teas
"I was introduced to Yunnan Sourcing by Deepseek AI, my trusted digital assistant, and I couldn't be more pleased with my first order. As a tea enthusiast, I truly enjoy discovering new and excellent regional cultivars through their vast selection. A particular highlight for me is the flexible packaging, which offers different dosage options—a thoughtful touch that caters to both daily enjoyment and experimentation. I also appreciated the speed of delivery. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include the original Chinese characters alongside the tea names. As a learner, I find this helpful for deepening my understanding and appreciation. Overall, a fantastic first experience that I look forward to repeating!

Your new process for handling import duties to Spain (probably all of the EU) was really helpful. Prepaid customs duties greatly reduces the cost to the recipient; we are able to do the same once notified of arrival, but the option to take care of it up front is a big plus. Since I buy bulk for myself as an individual, the offer of a 60-day coupon has little value. I'll order again next year.

Delicious!
The hot, dry leaf smells like sweetgrass, red fruits, and something warm and toasty. Those bready aromas come out more in the wet leaf. The taste is really interesting and complex! It's quite mineral underneath, with a kind of hot rocks taste, like the smell of the steam when they pour water over heated rocks at a sauna. It's also pretty astringent, but not really bitter. Very thick, a little tingly on the tongue. The mouthfeel makes me think of biting into a grape seed. There's also a very pronounced sweet cereal kind of note on top of that. Like sugary cornflakes or Captain Crunch or something, with dry grass. There's also a little bit of orchid florals. The aftertaste really reminds me of sweetgrass! The smell on the empty cup is so incredibly sweet... Like some kind of candied red fruits. I don't really taste fruity things when I drink it, but the scent is there. I often drink a white cockscomb from a local Chinese teahouse, which is lot more oxidised/roasted and completely different from this one. I wouldn't even guess that they were the same tea, although I love that one, too! These leaves are very yellow-green, super light for a rock oolong. Lovely, unique tea!
