Organic Honduran Marcala - Unroasted Coffee

1st time roasting this one. Just had 1st cup this morning. Good and “Robust”, very smooth. Ended up roasting a bit darker than usual. Very dark brown , shiny from oils. This is supposed to be really good for cold brew. Seems to have a full body so I’ll be trying that at. May have found another favorite.

This is the second time I have purchased the Marcala, I blend these with the Columbian. .

Great Central American option

I have a strong preference for Central American coffees, after visiting Costa Rica and experiencing their superb beans. But I also insist on purchasing organic, fair trade coffee whenever possible, both for my benefit and that of the growers and workers. These beans are great, if a bit chaffy, when roasted to a medium roast.
