Recently I purchased both the Standard and early release cleats. I have used the standard cleats for years and love the ease of entry and release. Both pairs work great. Currently I am riding the early release with new Lake shoes and really enjoy the way they pair together. Crank Brothers has the best cleat/pedal combination with virtually no break in period compared to other pedal brands.
