Decent results, messy pattern and instructions

This pattern does make a decent pair of shorts, but there are a number of issues that would make me hesitant to recommend it to someone who isn't experienced with sewing and can notice and correct these issues. - The size range is large, but the body dimensions for each size are not standard, with fairly average figures spanning two sizes. This is, however, mitigated by the elastic waist. - The shorts used about a quarter yard more fabric than stated for size M, even with shortening the inseam and an efficient cutting layout. - Contrary to the description, there isn't a video tutorial for this pattern, only for a similarly-constructed pair of pants, which does have some differences in the construction, albeit nothing major. The video is fast paced, with some steps only having a second of video time, and is not made with contrasting thread, so it's not always easy to see what's going on. - The written instructions are a hasty adaptation of instructions from a different pattern, with some references to the other garment left over. - The projector pattern has an error in the pocket opening interfacing. The pieces are rotated instead of flipped, so you end up with two identical pieces instead of mirrored. - The interfacing for the back pockets is missing from the parts list in the instructions, and is not separately drawn in the pattern. - The waistband is drafted so narrow that I found it almost impossible to get the directed waistband width into—I had to unpick and adjust the construction to widen it and make it fit.

Great pattern(s)

Really nice pattern and it was fun to make. I got the free T-Shirt pattern with the shorts. This was the best and easiest T-Shirt pattern I have found. I’ve have always had trouble with T-Shirt collars. For some reason, this particular pattern came together extremely easy for me. So over all, great patterns and fun to make, and easy to wear. WBM are great, I have a few of them, and love them all.
