Easy to sew, lovely result

I was especially thankful for the advice on experimental pleating in the youtube video. I made a first piece with plaits all around, which came out pretty, but slightly too bulky for my taste. For the second piece I tried less pleats around the hips and it came out great. Thanks a lot for the pattern + detailed instructions!

Fantastic pattern

I am a very adventurous beginner, I was able to make the skirt with just the instructions and the video with no need to print anything out. I am thrilled with the skirt, I used a checked double gauze and altered the pleat size to accommodate the checks. I will definitely buy further Two O Nine patterns, such lovely style. Thank you.

A delightfully feminine skirt and so easy to sew!

As a beginner / intermediate seamstress, I am very pleased with the Hanbok skirt. I first made a toile, to see if I could actually succeed in making it, and I did! I then went on to make one in beautiful, patterned fabric with a contrasting waistband and it looks wonderful. This skirt is also very comfortable to wear, and I am currently making another one, but this one will be the reversible option. I am very grateful to the creator of this pattern, because of the calculation, time and energy that has gone into the making of the pattern as well as providing all of the instructions. If you are like me and find it impossible to buy ready made clothing that is beautiful and in natural fabric, then this skirt pattern is for you. It is easy to sew, it is feminine and oh so comfortable to wear.
