City Dress Sewing Pattern Wardrobe By Me

Red Dress

I’m in the midst of sewing the City Dress pattern for a Christmas vibe in red linen. I’d love to add white top stitch but I just know that the white will turn pink eventually! So I’m experimenting with a white embroidery thread… we shall see. It was a very straight forward sew. I just need to pop in the sleeves and do the top stitching. I’m very happy with the dress. Can’t wait to wear it. Casual enough with a little extra. 😁

I am already onto my second city dress. It is a very simple shift dress but the way it is pieced gives interest and shape. I think I will use this multiple times as a top and a dress

Had he most enjoyable sew with this pattern. Fairly basic instructions but all steps went perfectly. made 2 dresses in a weekend . Love this pattern
