Cropped yes, but a little toi short for a jacket

I wonder if mine is not made right. The side pocket openings are set way too far back to put my hands in. It starts to open straight down from my armpits. It feels like the javketvrides up in the back. It is soft and pretty. I love the wrists with the thumb hole for my hands to go through. Arms are nice and long. I am 5’9 and it just does not fit me the best.
