Yoshimi Kato Ginsan Bunka 170 mm

Best knife in my collection so far! I emailed the team for advice and they were quick to respond and made this recommendation. You can see a Bob Kramer knife in the background of the video and this Bunka out performs it at nearly everything. I am not a metallurgist so I can’t explain to my wife why I can’t just put an edge on a cheap Walmart chef‘s knife but now that she has seen in action she gets it. By my math, that’s pretty much condoning me buying another knife!

It does it all right out of the package! The second I got it I quickly opened it and decided to use it for a paper test. It cut right through it without a hitch. Then I looked down and realized the paper was just used to clean up my dogs turds he leaves in the house. I threw the knife through 2 back to back cycles in the dishwasher and it came out sparkly clean! It’s been cutting like a dream every day since! All kidding aside great knife, will be looking to add a few more to the collection in the coming months.
