Comfy seat, failing backrest

Back rest gave out after about 3 days, no amount of tightening the tension spring or the fasteners that connect it to the main structure have changed anything (or could, as the default resting position is like +20 degrees back now). Armrests are attached directly to the seat cushion, which strikes me as an odd weakpoint. Did not install them so can only mention the concern (maybe they found room to put a robust metal structure within the cushion? I doubt it). but at least the cushion is sufficient. Big fan of eureka cabinets/shelves, have several that I love, but this chair has been pretty disappointing.
