Softside Chair

Inadequate for price

Primary complaint is that this chair only reaches a maximum height of 19 inches without paying for a “tall cylinder.” For perspective, the chair I’m replacing because the height cylinder broke still reaches a taller height. I’m only 5’8”- an average height. A chair this expensive should be deigned to accommodate people of [at least] average height. I’m practically sitting in a children’s chair. Designing a chair that requires the average person to buy accessories for it to be ergonomic feels scammy and akin to airlines charging for everything they can think of. Beyond this complaint, the chair doesn’t feel supportive to sit in for longer than a few hours. Two stars because it’s pretty and rolls smoothly.

VERY COMFORTABLE

The Softside Chair is a very nice addition to my work area. It is very comfortable while using my desktop computer. It feels very good when doing work on my computer, but is also comfortable when just watching a movie. video or sporting event. It has a plush feeling with its velvet like fabric. The back does have a recline feature, but I have found this feature difficult to use. The ergonomics of this chair probably isn’t good for all day work behind a computer, but for a home office with medium use it is VERY NICE!!!

It's ok.

It's fairly comfortable, but the adjustments are limited. It's short, even at maximum height, and I would prefer it could be pumped up higher so that my wrists and elbows are in a more ergonomically appropriate position. I was hoping for a lot more customizable positioning with this chair.
