TRMNL (OG)

I am disappointed in my TRMNL. I thought it would be a "live" display for my Tempest weather station, but it isn't. It just shows what the conditions were anywhere from 15 mins to 1 hr ago. I was really looking forward to having a display near the kitchen table to see what the weather is without having to get my phone out and checking. I'm not really sure what it is capable of doing. It's functioning and seems to be working, so I can't knock the quality of the product. It's like getting the weather from newspaper instead of current conditions.

Will not update

I only have one app installed, the Tempest Weather Station app. Since I got it set up, it does not refresh the screen unless I manually press the button on the back for 3 seconds, and then most of the time not even then. I have had to reconnect to my wireless network, which worked for a day or so and then reverted back to not updating on the screen. When I look at the online app it shows it appears correctly, most of the time. This is not at all what I expected. It is not a monitor screen for Tempest at all. Throwing it in the trashcan most likely.

Too small to read on the wall

I guess I should have looked for a larger size for my kitchen wall. Also, I thought it would show the same data as I get on my phone Tempest app. Live and learn...
