TRMNL (X)

Mostly easy to use

I did not have much trouble doing a couple of the widgets that I wanted to use. There is one called Apple notes and others like it that involve using some sort of web link to apply on an Apple device that I can’t figure out, so I kind of wish there was a better explanation of that. However, I’m very happy with the device and it is doing what I wanted to do.

Loving it!

I like the display quality, the various mount option with the pogo plug. The all ecosystem work great plus the ability to create your own plug-in. The touch bar allow some sort of navigation useful when the wanted screen is not displayed. My only down side, fingers can easily leave prints on the Grey painting.

Great once it started working

I felt like I got shipped a dead brick when I received the TRMNL X. Support was a bit lagging too, I ended up taking things in my own hands when the articles on getting it working didn't help, and was finally able to get it up and running. Since then it has been great. I'd say the magnetic power stuff at the back is over-engineered and would have just gone for a simple USBC port in the back.
