HA voice assistant works well

It didn't take a lot of effort to set it up and load the latest firmware. I first began using it with Piper for TTS. This worked well. I have given it a few voice commands, and it seems to respond well, though we're just getting started.

A decent basic voice assistant that still needs work

As with all Home Assistant devices nowadays, these generally work well for the tech savvy user, but they would be useless for a non-tech user, who would never figure out how to get them configured and working properly. Configuration is clunky. The voices are very mechanical and the speaker is low quality. The device does not always complete its requested task and needs multiple attempts. It does not always respond with the same confirmations. Range seems decent, at least 20 feet. They work well enough for my purposes, but comparing them to the other commercial products - again, as with all HA solutions - they need work before they would be usable by the masses.

This thing was so easy to setup. Plugged it in, HA found it, and follow the options to stop. Will definitely buy another one soon!
