Power Booster Accessory

In a valley, booster saved my Tempest.

I only get two hours of useful sun light most days. The battery was going in to low battery mode. The booster works great. I would like to make a suggestion. The ability to use a shorter cat 6 cable where applicable. Thank you.

Easy to install, inexpensive, and it works great!

I had to restart my tempest weather station as it lost the signal to my hub. I needed to remove it from it's base, turn it off, then back on. I had seen that a power booster was available from Tempest and it was inexpensive as well. I figured as long as I was up on a ladder I might as well add the booster. My station is five years old and I'm not sure how long the batteries will last. Since the upgrade, I have had 2.77 volts. Nice! It came with a power battery adapter, a nice long cord, zip-ties, and a 120 volt power supply. It took about 30 minutes to install including drilling a hole to bring the unit into my shed for electricity. I love it!

No down time!

Works just as it was expected and that is excellent. Just wasn't getting enough sun to keep charged on a cloudy day.
