Well, it never occurred to me the short ribs would come in one hunk, after wrestling that hunk of cow into 4 pieces, I was able to get them browned and then braised,when they were tender enough I removed the ribs to cut into 12 pieces, when all was said and done they were very good. i haven't even approached that other lump of cow yet
