I should have bought this sooner

I've been collecting a variety of IoT devices over the years and was trying to use AWS and custom lambda scripts to create fancier automations. Home Assistant is exactly what i was trying to create, and it does it so much better. my only warning is that once you get one, you'll get carried away with all the cool stuff you can do with it. i was also quite impressed with Apollo customer service. My first HA Green had a hardware issue. They asked me to run a couple diagnostics, saw the results, and immediately replaced it free of charge. The agent was super helpful and quick

I have one of these in another location and purchased one for my vacation home. it works great! And, service is terrific!

Easy out of the box setup

Easy to setup and lots of customization. I’m a software engineer and am thrilled to not be setting up environments during my personal time - especially since there’s still plenty of customization you can do after via automations etc.
