Like desert in a cup

I was recovering from foot surgery on a cold wet April morning in Michigan. My neighbor brought me in the craft mailing envelope from August and I was excited that my raspberry burnt sugar Rasma was included within. I hastily opened the package and when I opened the foil envelope, the aromas of cocoa and raspberry wafted into my nostrils. I couldn’t wait for my digital kettle to reach 212° then I had to wait another 4 1/2 minutes to steep the wonderful liquor that was to come smelling exactly like what the package smelled like I added a cube of Demerara sugar and a splash of milk and what met my taste buds was like dessert in a cup, like a chocolate raspberry truffle. I really cannot wait to try this ice. I’ve already had it three times hot.
