Black Metallic - Violet Elderberry Black Tea

Really wasn’t sure at first…

I couldn’t wait for it to come. When it did I didn’t wait so I open the package and weighed out 7g to make my first pot. Bringing the cup to my lips the first aroma that got me was incense wafting through my olfactories, overpowering the blackberry. I added some Agave nectar which really brought everything to light. I thought it was too perfumey? So I had a second cup I still wasn’t sure that I liked it. So then I decided to make iced tea with it, adding agave nectar again and that was spectacular. I followed by making hot tea again and I suppose my palate had acclimated because I really enjoy this variety!

I first order the tea sampler so I could really know what I liked net. Black Metallic made a good gift to a friend as well. It’s good for me and taste great. I do add a little honey from time to time. I always finish the cup and go for another. That let me know it truly is my favorite. Only wish I could get the little black storage can for it. I would gift myself and others with it.
