Spike is just right!

Super confused why this doesn't come default on the tools - it's an awesome addition that just makes sense to have. I'm only disappointed it doesn't come as the default. . .

A nice add-on for a very technical tool

As a more traditional mountaineer, I was glad the prominent spike add-on was available on this tool. For technical ice and drytooling the bigger spike obviously would get in the way, but for us snow field, and WI2 climbers a spike is a handy plus. A positive aspect is it is burly and sharpens quickly and well. Maybe this should’ve been included with the tool originally, but I can see why it was made optional.

Strong and works and fits well.
