Took them out of the box and they were absolutely clear, Wore them outside and they quickly darkened to a comfortable shade. Very light weight and comfortable during activity.

Great Pair of Shades

The light to dark tint change is fast! Like the shape and how they fit. The vent slots are nice in concept but a little distracting in my periphery vision.

Exception to the "nothing new on race day rule"

Do I look like an amateur woodworker when I wear these inside? I do. Do I care what I look like once I'm out on the trails running? I do not. Took them out for their first run for a 10k trail race that started in a sunny open meadow that then wove into evergreen forest. Had crystal clear vision the whole way, shade and full sun, and they stayed put on my fairly small face even on the downhills. Huge improvement from the cheap polarized ones these will replace, or the too-dark ones that have to move from face to head everytime you go into the trees.
