Ultimate

Love em.

Final had to retire my old Ultimate's that I've had for like 7 years. The new ones are even better. Unobstructed view, crisp clear lenses for my face great. I use these primarily for mountain bike woods riding and racing. We have a lot of tree cover here in the northeast and I'm constantly in and out of changing light conditions. The reactive lenses work great for these conditions. I have also started using them on my gravel and road rides too and they work great. I know a piece of gear is great if you put it on and completely forget you are wearing it because it works so good. That's the Ultimate's. Hopefully they last as long as my previous pair.

From Night to Summit: Flawless performance for 12+ hours.

I used these glasses for a 60km ultra-trail race that lasted over 12 hours, and they were flawless. They are incredibly lightweight; I never felt any pressure or discomfort despite the continuous use. The Reactiv lens technology is a game-changer. I went through every possible scenario: a pitch-black night using only a headlamp, a cold and windy ridge under heavy clouds, hours of intense direct sunlight, and thick fog at the summit. I never had to take them off once. The lenses adapted so seamlessly to the light changes that I didn't even notice the transitions. Additionally, they didn't fog up at all, even during high-exertion climbs in humid conditions. If you are looking for high-performance gear that handles everything the mountain throws at you, I highly recommend these. Pros: Ultra-lightweight and comfortable for long endurance efforts. Reactiv lenses adapt perfectly to all light conditions (Night to Sun). Excellent anti-fog performance. Cons: None (The performance justifies the investment).
