G4 Weight Stack Pulley Tower

I really like how little space it takes up, yet I feel like I worked out at a commercial gym! There are a few extra things that I would like for the machine to have, but that's me being picky. Overall, a great purchase for the days I won't make it to the gym.

Exceeded expectations but a few flaws

I bought 2 of the G4 weight stack pulley towers for $570 each. I spaced them apart at 50 inches on center a anchored into a concrete wall. Good things first. Solid guage steel. Powder coat seems good but won't know how good as time goes. The pulleys are smooth but plastic. They offer an aluminum upgrade, which I almost bought, but the poly wheels seem to do great. The weight is plastic with packed sand or concrete in them, I'm not sure which. People bag on that as opposed to metal plates but these are alot quieter than metal so.. The unit doesn't sway. I put 2 tapcons up top and 2 on the bottom. I used 1/2 × 3.5 inch tapcons. The wall is concrete. As thin as the wall brackets are in width, they surprisingly hole the unit very tight. These could also be bolted to the floor but I don't see a need. The cables seem durable. I lubricate them and the tower itself, and the guide rods. The footpads are sufficient and I find myself doing floor seated rows more than my bench. Somethings to be aware of. 1 of the towers came with a cable several inches too long. I was able to get around it but it took some thinking. Also, the adjustment on the top of the weight stack is a pin in the neck to get right. And if you don't, you'll never get your pin to slide in the bottom 6 or so stacks. Lastly, the instructions suck. There is a video but beware. The video skips a step or 2 and you'll wind up taking half the thing apart to back track. Screw the bolts for the uprights at the bottom before adding the top and weights to the tower. They don't tell you that in the video. All in all I'm glad I bought this. It's a great value
