Awesome and Versatile

This pre is really nice. The flexibility and mod potential is great. Two of these pres live on my 2bus chain and offer some great options for mix saturation.

Audio Corn Starch

The only problem with buying a Chroma 500 unit is that you are very likely to immediately want to buy a dozen more. As a mixer and composer in the post-production world, I have 2 Chromas at the end of my mix bus so I can drive into them. They are the last stop in the analog mix bus chain before printing. Hate to be cliche, but these little guys provide the glue and analog saturation I've been missing ITB. Its like audio corn starch…the perfect thickening agent. So now, I have to get at least 6 more for my buses. Damnit, LTL.
