Just what I wanted! Perfect for these hot days while riding in addition to great visibility! I don't know what I was expecting but what I received was exactly what I needed and wanted. I honestly thought it was going to be another heavier shirt/jacket with armor. Light, completely ventilated shirt. This is perfect for those hot summer days. I called up when I was ordering and got to talk directly to Kristen who sized me over the phone. I was in fact ordering the wrong size until I spoke to her. My first color choice wasn't available but Kristen told me that I would look sexy in what I was getting. How did she know?!? Good product, well made, well sized. I'm in the process of putting all of my old gear on Marketplace and can't wait to order my flannel shirt for the next season.

The Bohn Airtex shirt is all it claims to be. It works great in hot and humid conditions while providing the armored protection. Great product..

This my 3rd Bohn shirt. Here is the honest long term assessment of using these body armor shirts. Best body armor system out there without doubt. The ONE thing and to be fair, this is applicable to ME. And may not be an issue with others. That being fit. First, the company is stellar on customer service, without reproach. They will work with you on getting the right fit. However, as humans come in endless variations, getting the right fit (for me) is difficult. To make a long story short, I went back to a smaller size to get the "snug" of armor against body. I am for lack of better between sizes. If they made and XL and a half, that would be perfect. The next size is too sloppy, allowing the armor to move (no good in a crash) so for me, having a very snug fit is preferable. I can live with it. It would be great to have a perfect fit but that would mean the company would have to custom sew each shirt. No doubt making the system VERY high priced. As I said, its ME, the shirt size they advise may well fit you perfectly. Great armor, great service highly recommended. So, IMHO if your situation is similar, I would go SNUG on sizing. Keep that armor where it is supposed to be. A loose fit maybe (arguably) more "comfy" but could pose a situation where it moves excessively (in a crash). The good thing, the shirts (and pants) have lots of stretch-ability, so SNUG is not uncomfortable (for me), you just feel it a bit more.
