Motorcycle - Vibration Dampener

I purchased this on the recommendation of of a buddy who ruined his iPhone after having ridden around with it mounted in his QL system without a dampener. My bike rumbles around quite a bit at a stop in particular, so I figured it would be a must, plus it’s a fairly inexpensive piece of kit compared to the cost of a new phone. Super-easy to install with the rest of the system I purchased. I’ve been riding with it for about 300 miles and so far the system and phone still work fine, so I’d say it’s a win, but time will tell. I haven’t had a phone vibration dampener from any other company, so I don’t have anything to compare against, but this one really isn’t much to look at, but I guess it doesn’t have to be either. It’s pretty much the plastic mount and some foam bushings/bumpers. Obviously, at a stop when the bike is vibrating, the phone moves around in the mount, but hopefully its guts are protected enough that it doesn’t break.

The first one failed but thanks to Quadlocks customer service I was able to start mounting my phone back on my bike and this one work a whole lot better than the first. Definitely will buy again.

I purchased the Quad Lock kit and installed on my 2003 Harley Davidson FXDP and have been very pleased with it. The installation was fairly simple and the materials are of good quality. It is mounted on the handlebars and securely holds my phone without any worries whatsoever of it falling out or failing. The vibration dampener works great, especially for the vibration from the 88ci twin cam engine. The wireless charger also works flawlessly. Overall it has exceeded my expectations, I wish I had bought one sooner! I highly recommend!
