FlexGuard Hydro® Protective Motorcycle Jeans

Just took my new FlexGuard Jeans out on their first long ride of 300 miles and to a rally this weekend. They were absolutely comfortable the entire time! It felt good to know that if something happened that I would not turn into a total road pizza because I used the best PPE. They do require some effort to get the knee pads in the right place to provide coverage over the joint. What I found helped the process was to adjust the left side to where I thought it needed to be and then set the right side up using the left side position plus a little more up/down or right/left than I used for the left leg. Repeat. When I finally had one of the two legs where I wanted it, it was easy to lay them out on a flat surface and copy the position over to the out of place pad. Good things take some effort.

Great fit. The pockets are huge, which I like. I’m wearing them almost everyday even when I don’t ride. I take the knee pads out when not riding and they look and feel just like regular jeans. Mark

I ordered two pairs (boot cut), one blue and one black. I wore the blue pair and noticed that they were somewhere between bell bottoms and boot cut jeans. The bell is simply too big. I had a bee fly up the bell and sting me a couple times while riding with my feet on the forward pegs. That was painful and another reason to dislike the large leg opening. I returned the not worn black pair in exchange for their straight leg version. Streetbrawl sent me a used pair. Not good. I shipped those back. Streetbrawl then sent me a new pair. The strait leg fits fine over my cowboy and engineer boots. I like the straight legs much better, and bees are less likely to get up the leg past my boots. I'd give the jeans five stars, but larger leg openings are not necessary. The boot cut pant leg drags on the ground at my heal when riding with my cowboy boots. The engineer boots are a little bigger, so that is not an issue. I hope this post allows others to make a more informed decision when ordering. One last thing, the waist rides a little low, so shirts tend to not stay tucked in well.
