Game changer for a Durston Kawana 55.

I purchased these for multiple backpacks for both the shoulder and hipbelts. They really make a huge difference for almost zero weight. They’ll squish flat by the end of a thru but that’s totally reasonable. The Velcro straps they come with are basically useless. They barely hold when brand new. After a week or two on the trail, they curl up and the Velcro stops working. I’ve either sewn the pads in place or used a few safety pins. Don’t sew until using on trail with a full weight pack for a few days or you’ll guess wrong at best placement.
