I am using these as mesh (quick drying) stuff sacks for my cooking gear and for my water filtration gear. Typically, they will probably ride inside the big mesh pouch on the front of my backpack. But when I need some additional pack volume, I can secure them on the sides of my backpack above the side pockets freeing up 5L or more of additional backpack volume.

Off Set Solo and Arc Haul Ultra Review
Like my Offset Solo. Almost as as roomy as my Duplex - like a Duplex mini. However the scree and door fasteners placements are not good so the doors/screen keep falling down. Going to do a hack of some kind. But overall like it. Recommend it. The women's Arc Haul Ultra 60L. Where is the ice ax loop? Also shoulder straps and waist strap rather flimsy, expect they will break at some point on a long distance hike. Duct tape anyone? The way the metal stays are curved into my shoulders instead of form fitting is uncomfortable pressure along and between my shoulders. I know this is suppose to create space to limit sweat but it really doesn't cause if you're hiking a steep grade or in hot weather, you will sweat. I loved the way you used to bend the stays to the contour of your back. Then the load was distributed across you entire back. Fit like a glove. So this design may not be for me - might have to recall my REI Flash 55 if it gets bad. But Over all the pack is good so will give it a chance on my upcoming CDT hike cause it is super light and I'm counting calories.
