Indigo the Octopus

Adorable and super helpful

I love this little octopus. She helps when I feel overwhelmed or when my shoulders tighten. Just to feel her weight on my shoulders, is so relaxing. I may get another Hugimal in another animal.

excellent quality weighted animal for little kids with sensory needs

I am a special education teacher and I have purchased 8 of these weighted animals for my students. They are helpful in keeping kids feeling grounded in their bodies, reduce wiggles and also a special motivator for behavior. I tell my students that they have to teach their animal how to follow school expectations :)

Great materials and design, but didn't work for us

They are cute design and materials, but both the hug ball and the Indigo the octopus hugaround don't really work for us as a weighted comforter. Weight is simply too light and weight surface is too small. Indigo the octopus sits nicely on the neck, but weight surface is small to get a "hugged" sensation. For context, me and my family members are pretty petite and lean in frame, so we had high hopes about the product.
