Trekking Pole Snow Baskets

I love my Montem trekking poles, and I recently got these new snow baskets to add to the poles, but one shattered within the first 5 minutes of use and the second broke the second day I used them. Hopefully this was just an isolated manufacturing flaw, but I'm now waiting to receive replacements, so I'll have to see how they hold up.
