Trekking Pole Tip Protectors

The shipping was slow with no complete info on status. The product arrived after we left for our hiking trip. Tips just replacing same that had worn out. I know they are good.

Sturdy enough for hiking over rugged terrain

I have used these types of pole tip protectors almost forever. They are really good on mountain trails, less on asphalt. If you are doing the "Via Alpina" over a month or two (hiking from hut to hut, up and down, all day ,every day), a pair will last for the duration of the trip. On asphalt (on a city trail), let's say 5 miles a day (that is 90 or 120 minutes a day) , they will last six months. I will continue to buy them for as long as I continue hiking or nordic walking. I am 82. So we are dealing with uncertainty here.
