2016-2019 Lexus RX Hamilton Conversion Kit for CarPlay® and Android Auto™

Product is wonderful. Instructions for Knob install not so much. Example there are wires shown for AV in that do not apply to this model as well as video for instructions are only half helpful. iPhone CarPlay utilizes Bluetooth and WiFi so it takes a little bit for the device to realize there is not internet before prompting to use “cell data”. It would be nice if the instructions told you how to permanently enable this on iPhones.

I’ve only had it for a couple weeks but it has been a great upgrade to my factory navigation. The install was straightforward and there are plenty of YouTube install videos to help you if you are not good at following along the included diagram. In addition I’ve downloaded other apps like HBOMax and Netflix to watch while I’m sitting idle waiting for a period of time. I’ll update in 6 months to see how it holds up.

I ordered the wrong year

my experience with Hamilton motors has been extremely good. Everybody’s been extremely nice and helpful through my mistakes and they have been prompt to shipping and the tech seems to be very good thank you.
