Easy to install, good directions, only problem was pairing the remotes you got to be quick, one paired and i couldn't get the second one in time then it wouldn't let me start over, I had to Google how to reset and start over, i recommend this product

Thought this would be more straight forward. For background, I'm not new to electrical work and I fix my own vehicles. My frustration with the kit is the lack of instructions and support. I watched the Youtube video 12vsolutions put up for my 2013 Tacoma. The video was supposed to be for 2011-2015 Tacomas. Followed along and realized I was left with an additional wire that I am not sure if I even need. The video doesn't reference having a leftover wire, but I rewatched and don't see where it could have been used. The video also doesn't include the plugging in of all the wires into the "brain" module. The ports are not labeled in a way that makes sense and there are multiple ports that don't seem to have anything to plug into? The antenna plug can fit into 2 or 3 of these ports, but none of them are label "antenna" which seems like it would be the most straight forward way to label the ports. As you probably guessed, I couldn't get the system to work. I followed the pairing instructions and the antenna will blink blue after the single click. Then it says to hold the antenna button until it goes solid blue, but it never lights back up. Tried calling a number I got off the website and no one answered. No way to leave a message. Requested support through the website, but who knows when I'll get a response. I would have been better off paying a shop to install a Viper or something similar. Spend a little more money and have a professional shop install a legitimate remote start kit.

Now that I have the Plug & Play Remote Start Kit installed, I am very happy with it. It functions as it is supposed to, without any problems so far. I gave it 4 stars because the installation process was much more involved than I expected. While the videos were very helpful, they were not always accurate. The connectors in my vehicle did not match up exactly to what the videos showed and the long range antenna that came with the harness was not the same as what was shown in the video. I had to do my own research to find and connect the correct antenna unit. What was advertised as a 45 to 60 minute installation took me several hours.
