Excellent First Soldering Iron

This was my first soldering iron, so I don't have much to compare it against, but I've had a good experience so far. It heats up quickly, is comfortable to hold, and the compact size makes it feel more like a pen than a traditional soldering iron. The protective cap is very convenient when the iron is cooling down. The temperature recovery on larger pads and ground planes can feel a bit inconsistent, although that may be partly due to my inexperience and the small tip I was using. For normal through-hole soldering it performed well. Overall I'm happy with it and think it's a good portable soldering iron.

LCR st2 Love the little tool. Not use for the clip leads yet but they will likely be useful. Changed tips and that was somewhat difficult and think I really like the originals better. Big problem so far is display orientation. Think I haven’t got that setup properly yet.

Value for money!

I have purchased several tools from FNIRSI and have been very satisfied with their overall quality and performance. They offer excellent value for money and are more than capable of handling semi-professional work comfortably. Some of their tools are also suitable for regular professional use. A reliable and affordable choice that I would gladly recommend.
