Bulbs for HL150-A lamp

I ordered two bulbs for the lamp, at over $50 w tax and shipping, near $30/bulb. They would not work. The bulbs might be fine, but the part of the lamp that regulates the light intensity died. I had thought that it was the bulbs. I was wrong. The lamp is of poor quality.
