1/16" Shock Cord (15 Feet)

It works!

This cord is wonderfully light and also strong. I used it along with mini hooks and (oops forgot the word for them and am traveling with my iPhone and don’t have time to look up - the little guys that cord slides through to tighten - sliders?) to add two new sets of fasteners to a rain poncho purchased probably 10 years ago from packs to make sure it wouldn’t carry me away in the wind like a magic carpet. What truly amazed me was to discover that the zpacks folks had already installed little loops of (don’t remember that word either - old age is a steep climb, my young friends!-let’s just say fabric, small, sturdy loops). My reconfigured poncho was perfectly eindproof and did great walking in the rain and wind in the Scottish highlands. Hurrah for Zpacks. Love the cord, the sliders and the hooks - and the poncho! Oh and I was able to repurpose my backpack cover to use over a small day pack, now that my age and worn out foot pads require me to use luggage transfer. Bless you all zpack workers and hikers who rely on them.
