The Japanese Sencha tea has a very good and distinctive flavor. The tea leaves in the 8 oz. bag were somewhat dry; I used a kitchen sieve to filter out about one ounce of powdered tea leaf residue and leaf dust. The tea now brews without leaving powdered leaves in the teapot.
