Women's 3" Ouray Compression Short

Runs way small, nonfunctional and limited storage pockets.

I’ll start off saying I’m petite at 5’2”, 110 lb, very small waisted. I started buying FlipBelt shorts years ago and used to love them. I’ve run marathons in the Women's Air Compression Shorts, which were sadly discontinued and replaced with these Ouray shorts. Flipbet keeps shrinking their sizes. I have NEVER been a medium in anything until these shorts. The size small was so tight at the waist that it became uncomfortable and painful within minutes of putting them on (running is challenging enough, no need to add more pain). The pockets on either thigh are incredibly small, so I can no longer put my phone there (the previous version had deep pockets there). I put my phone in one of the mesh waist pockets during a long run and it bounced the entire time. Also, the previous version had four spacious mesh pockets, whereas these shorts only have three tiny ones. I would not be able to fit all my gels, phone, etc. for a marathon in these shorts.

They run a little small to size, but love feel and comfort. They fit the fit let running water bottle Nicely as well my phone. Will be buying them again!!

Super thoughtful design with pockets galore!

I loved these so much I bought 8 different iterations of these shorts. Flipbelt is one of the few athletic wear that makes shorts to have the amount of pockets to fit lip balm, tissue (allergies), mace and my phone! It has just the right stretch to hold you in. That being said, they have a tape thingy at the leg edge that gives you a little bulge (see their pictures of the thighs) and won't ride up my legs. The material also is lightweight and breathable. (exactly what you need for hot Cali summers) I have the black and purple colors. The purple will show your sweat so beware. You won't find shorts like these anywhere!
