Straps Too Long When Sized Up

Four stars as the pockets are fantastic and the material is soft. However, I took the advice in the item description to size up and wish I hadn't. While the top fits properly around my lower torso (snug!), the straps are now far too long for my shoulders/chest. I find myself constantly adjusting how the straps sit on my shoulders and pulling the fabric up under the armpit so my skin is not rubbing on itself and chafing. I plan to wear this for my marathon, but will need to alter it myself so it fits properly. Disappointing that the top is proportionally off.
