RUNNR Marathon Pro Shorts

These are *almost* perfect. The waist band and pockets are really well designed to carry gels in comfort. The liner however needs to be much tighter and more densely woven to really be a “compression” layer held firm against your muscles, and the help keep your phone tight against your leg. Both the liner and outer could also be a touch longer. It’s also really frustrating that it doesn’t have a zipped pocket, the trail shorts have the centre back pocket zipped, but then don’t have the phone pocket in the liner, just need both of these features combined! Lastly the sizing guide on the website is really confusing, but the returns process when I needed to swap sizes was dealt with very well.

Super handy to have the built in pockets and waistband. Essentially lets me run without a pack. Would prefer an option for a pocket on both sides of the tights. Having the phone pocket only on one side makes me feel lopsided. Having a second pocket would allow me to switch sides if it pulls too much on one side.

Wore the Marathon Pro Shorts for my first 10K Run at the Run Melbourne Marathon event. They were really great for the entire run and kept up to its name, features and promises.
