The ink converter is inserted into the handle as an alternative to the ink cartridge. Like a syringe, the ink is drawn directly from the ink bottle. This makes ink cartridges obsolete and reduces plastic waste.
Thanks to the clever folding ...

Fits my Kaweco Sport like it should. The amount of ink it holds is sooo small. I use the ink up pretty quickly even when barely used as a quick on-the-go pen. Makes me consider ink cartridges.

Works as intended. Fits in the smaller fountain pens that will usually only take short international cartridges.

Yes, this converter works and fits in a Liliput. It does feel a little fragile, so handle with care. Clever detail: when the folks is folded, you can't press the plunger down.
