Hydra V2

Just took a three day trip to Wyoming with my new Hydra V2. I think I have a new favorite Rod. It was nice to be able to transition quickly to different lengths and the casting action was excellent. Easily able to use extra long lines on big water and go to shorter lines in tight quarters. Did not catch any large fish, mostly 12 and 13 inch specimens but it handled them nicely even in spring runoff current.

Got out and fished on Father’s Day caught lots of Brooke’s . Went to local casting club pond and tried out several lines. #3 level line was very accurate. Floating lines were fun. I really like the rod sock very protective. In back of pack!

Excellent!

Bought it to use larger flies and hopefully catch bigger fish. Has preformed wonderfully on both accounts!!! Landed a 19” largemouth bass couple nights ago and the rod handled it very well. Looking for a bigger fish to do another test!
