Montepulciano - Always a Favorite

This wine is progressing nicely. Correctly made, this kit will provide a good table wine that has the general characteristics of an Italian Montepulciano. Good kit for a very drinkable table wine. To me the wine lacks the "earthiness" I love in some of the Italian Montepulciano's I have had. I am slowly aging / oaking the wine in an attempt to recreate that experience using this kit wine. It seems to be working. Good value for a very drinkable Montepulciano table wine when made per the kit instructions and using ingredients provided.
